Not Really Chem...
These are photos of my Microbiology students performing a laboratory activity on bacterial culture characterization.
The smell of the four-day old bacterial cultures they were observing is really bad although --based from the photos-- they don't seem to be offended by it. It even looked as if they have enjoyed their encounter with these microbes... :)
